The second job fair of Shahid Beheshti University and the nineteenth job fair of Iran Talent, in collaboration with the Science and Technology Park of Shahid Beheshti University under the title “Talent Cup,” were held from November 24-26,2024 at Shahid Beheshti University. One of the most important factors for sustainable growth and development is the close relationship between industry and university and filling the gaps between them. This collaboration not only helps attract specialized and capable workforce but also fosters the practical skills of students and prepares them for entering the job market. The presence of industries in order to connect with universities and research centers has advantages such as: attracting young and specialized workforce by companies, defining practical projects for students, updating academic knowledge with the real needs of the industry, and creating internship and employment opportunities for students. Additionally, companies and universities can take significant steps towards progress by collaborating in the following areas: organizing workshops and job fairs, defining joint research projects, supporting theses and research proposals, and launching specialized internship courses. In the second job fair of Shahid Beheshti University, 50 companies participated in this exhibition. Students and visitors of the exhibition also took advantage of the employment and internship opportunities presented by various industries during the educational sessions held. The esteemed Tak Makaron Co. also participated in this exhibition with the slogan “Collaboration between industry and university; a bridge to build a bright future,” and interacted with its audience, which mainly consisted of students and the future elite of the country.
