The 30th National & 5th International Congress of Food Science and Technology of Iran was held on October 2024 at Tarbiat Modares University. This annual congress is organized by the Iranian Food Science and Technology Association, in collaboration with Tarbiat Modares University, and with the support of various food-related scientific and research organizations.
The congress focused on topics such as: Novel food processing and preservation methods, reduction and recycling of food waste, food safety and quality control, functional foods, prebiotics and probiotics, the use of natural flavors and extracts in the food industry, antinutrients in food, food security and safety, and the water crisis in the food industry.
As a leading company in the pasta industry, Tak Makaron Co. participated in the event to foster interaction and synergy between industry and academia. Tak Makaron also set up a booth at the congress to interact with its customers and offer them healthy and nutritious snacks.
